Welcome, transfer students!

Transfer Bruin Day is an opportunity for admitted transfer students to get a personal feel for UCLA’s energized students, the extraordinary undergraduate programs, and the biggest selection of events, arts, recreation, and happenings at any university. Take advantage of this opportunity to explore UCLA student clubs and organizations, campus and housing tours, financial aid resources, and other undergraduate opportunities. This day is an open event and you can create your own agenda to experience campus life.

UCLA Samueli will be hosting a number of events at Transfer Bruin Day specific to admitted engineering students. We encourage you to attend our events to learn what you need to know to make an informed decision to attend UCLA Engineering.

UCLA Engineering will be hosting the following events at Transfer Bruin Day:

UCLA Engineering booth at Academics and Student Life Fair

Our academic counselors and current transfer students will be available to answer any questions and share information.

9:30 AM – 1 PM | Wilson Plaza

UCLA Engineering Welcome & Overview session

Learn about the engineering disciplines at the School of Engineering, how to maximize your UCLA Samueli Engineering experience, and hear from current engineering transfer students.

11 AM – 12 PM | Memorial Mong Learning Center

RSVP is required (FULL).

Meet & Greet Pizza Reception

Attendees will be invited to stick around after the welcome and overview to meet current engineering transfer students and student leaders over a slice of pizza.

12 PM – 1 PM | Engineering VI patio – 404 Westwood Plaza

Engineering student organizations and design teams

There are over 40 student organizations and design teams in the School of Engineering. You have two options to visit with our student organizations. The first is to visit the student life fair from 9:30 AM – 1 PM where a few of our student organizations will host tables. The second is for attendees of our UCLA Engineering Welcome & Overview session. Our Ambassador’s Program tour guides will lead guests to the Student Creativity Center to see a few of the student design team prototypes. Tours will depart from the Mong Memorial Learning Center following the Meet & Greet Pizza Reception.
